DOORFLEX® System produces extrusion profiles supporting bi-fold doors and windows for:
› Private houses (balcony, winter garden, bioclimatic greenhouse etc.)
› Commercial buildings (commercial premises, restaurants, pubs etc.)
The related accessories grant different types of doors and windows.

DOORFLEX30 - System without Thermal Break

30mm-section profiles guarantee doors and windows with odd and even doors, with inward and outward opening. The load is supported either by the rollers located in upper track or by the lower track on the floor.

60mm-section thermal-break profiles guarantee the same features of DOORFLEX30 system, using a dedicated profile with inward opening.

Materials

DOORFLEX® System is based on EN AW 6060-T5 (UNI EN 573-3) alloy extrusion profiles.
The theoretical weight of profiles can vary according to size and thickness tolerance, in compliance with UNI EN 12020-2 regulation.

Accessories and gaskets can be applied to all types of DOORFLEX® system profiles

Profile external section for fixed frames

Thermal insulation

Guaranteed by 16-24 mm polyamide bars. (DOORFLEX60)

Bracket positioning

The size of hollow profile for the bracket is 25x27mm in all series.

Glazing bead

They are snap-mounted. Rounded glazing beads are linked in the corner thanks to the related accessory.

Air- and water-tightness

It is guaranteed by perimeter EPDM gasket system and by vertical magnetic gaskets in-between doors; caps are used to link gaskets together.

DOORFLEX® System is completed by:
› Papers.
› Specific punching machine.
› Materials and cutlist software.
› 1200x800mm extrusion profile samples.

Treatments

DOORFLEX® System extrusion profiles must be treated superficially, in compliance with Qualanod regulations for anodizing and Qualicoat regulation for coating.

Certifications and patents

DOORFLEX® System is certified and patented.

Air – Water – Wind test

A five-shutter window, measuring 3600mm width and 2500 mm height, has undergone Air – Water – Wind tests, with the following results:

  • Air-tightness: Class 4
  • Water-tightness:Class 3A
  • Wind resistance: Class B3

Durability test

DOORFLEX® System rollers series have undergone durability test, with the following results:
TEST REPORT N°0185-RP12 DATE 2012-06-12
  • Central rollers EPM283 - applied weight 150Kg. - number of cycles: 10.000 with positive results.
  • Side rollers EPM284-285 – applied weight 75Kg. - number of cycles: 10.000 with positive results.

Thermal Transmittance Calculation

Thermal Transmittance has been calculated for the main joints of DOORFLEX® System:

Doors and windows must be set down in compliance with existing regulations, instructions and recommendations.
